Writers and avowal

 In that post I want to tell you about three writers and their three books which brought them avowal.

William Makepeace Thackeray

   William Makepeace Thackeray was born in India in 1811. His father and grandfather served in the company Ostindia. His  father dead early. When he was six years old his mother sent him in England to study. He loved to draw caricatures and read books more than study. He gave up to study and gone to Germany. When he became adult he got a big heritage, but a few years later wasted-part in laying card and part in edition his own newspapers. He bankrupt and he had to work in other newspapers editorial. He wrote well-known books: The luck of Barry Lyndon, The rose and the ring, Four Georges, and book which is the most popular and  brought avowal to writer: Vanity Fair.

Vanity Fair

Vanity Fair tells us about girl whose name is-Rebecca Sharp. She is orphans and living in boarding-school. Her father was painter and her mother was French singer. Rebecca knew French very well and she was teaching for others. After she leaved boarding-school with her friend Amelia  Sedley. She lived in Amelia’s house several days and she acquainted Amelia’s parents, her brother-Joseph Sedley , her fiancé-George Osborne and his friend William Dobbin. After she gone in Queen’s Crawley-it was Ser Pit Crawley’s palace. Ser Pit Crawley had wife, two suns and two daughters. His one sun Rawdon  Crawley was living with Ser Pit’s sister.  Ser Pit Crawley hired she to study French for his daughters. Once in Queen’s Crawley arrived sister of  Ser Pit Crawley-miss Matilda Crawley. She liked Rebecca and asked her to go with she. Rebecca agreed. After she married to Rawdon  Crawley. When miss Matilda understood she became angry and changed the will, according to this will all her property remained to Rawdon. After they meat to Amelia, joseph, George and William and they decided to go in Brussels. Amelia and Rebecca were pregnant. When they were in Brussels began war. Rawdon, George and William gone to war and George dead. After this everyone gone back in London. Rebecca gave birth in October and gave birth to a boy. Rebecca and Rawdon were very poorer and had many debts. Once when Rebecca returned to home her furniture were in the street and there was man who sait to they had his money and don’t back him money and for this he was carrying furniture. And there were one man who gave money for this man. This was Marquess of Steyne. He was helping them with money. They sent their boy in boarding-school. Once when they were in Stayn’s palace Rawdon gone out and the policemen caught him. These was command of Stayn. But wife of his brother saw this gone in fortress and released him. On this evening Stayn ushered Rebecca in home. He kissed her and on these time Rawdon entered in room. He chased Stayn and gone from home. He become a governor of colony. And dead after two year. She was going to city from city but when she made friends someone said them about her past. Once when she was in Germany she meat to Joseph. After they married. After several months Joseph dead and all his property remained to Rebecca. Her sun became baronet and every month gave a lots of money but he didn’t slumming her. Rebecca was giving money for charity, going in the church and these way she lived all her life.

Victor Hugo

Victor Hugo was born in 1802.   His father was general and he traveled almost all Europe.  In 1830  during the revolution his poems and pieces were very popular. In 1948 he became Legislative Assembly MP, and when Napoleon III defeated republicans he escaped from the country. Napoleon III established  25000 franc for head of Hugo. 20 year him guided to live in exile. Emperor asked him to returned in French, he answered: I will back when you don’t be there, when freedom will restored. And he returned in Paris in 5 September in 1870 second day from down of Napoleon III. Fellow got him very well. Victor Hugo wrote wellknown books: Paris Cathedral Of Virgins, Poors and Man Who Laughs.

Man Who Laughs

Man who laughs tells us about boy whose name is Gwynplaine.  In 1690 in February a group of people are leaving England with a ship. They left boy on the coast. He is 10 years old. This boy is Gwynplaine. Boy gone from the beach. He was going and he  stumbled leg for something. This was a frozen woman with a baby in the hands. Baby was alive. Gwinplane took the baby and continued the road.  When he was going he saw a smoke. He went to the smoke and he saw a hat which was standing on the wheels. There was a wolf which was enclosed on the wheel. These was Homo. Homo was a domesticated wolf. Homo howled. On this sound an old man looked out from the hat. This was Ursus. Ursus  got  the boy in the hat. He gave them a food. Morning when Ursus got up he saw a boy’s face, he was smiling, he can’t to get serious face. After Ursus saw a baby, she was blind. He named her Dea. On this evening there was storm on the sea. There was sinking a ship. On this ship where people which left the boy on the beach. They wrote a latter, gunmen in the bottle and casted it into the sea. Ursus Gwynplaine Dea and Homo were making show. When Gwynplaine was 26 years old they gone in London. It was prohibited to have a wolf. For this police was suffering them. Once policeman got Gwynplaine in the fortress. In the fortress understood that he was Lord Fermain Clancharlie. They found a letter which wrote people which left Gwynplaine on the beach. In the letter was written that he Gwynplaine was Lord Fermain Clancharlie that his father was Lord Clancharlie  which was against the king after the revolution and which left England for this and they stolen him and deformed. After this Gwynplaine become peer and formal husband of queen’s sister. When he went in the place of Westminster lords derided him and lords caused him in a duel. He left everything and returned to Ursus they left England with the ship. On the ship it got fever to Dea. Dea dead and Gwynplaine jumped in the water. There was only Ursus Homo and Dea’s remains on the ship homo was on the board and howling, howling and howling.    

Alexander Dumas

Alexander Dumas was born in July 27, 1824 in Paris. He was the son of a famous writer Alexander Dumas. His mother was a worker at Paris. He was a novelist and playwright. Was a member of the French Academy since 1874. He was 18 years old when he began writing poetry. His first poetry collection, sins of my youth, published in 1847. He died in 1895. It belongs to the novels: Illegitimate son, Claude's wife, Doctor Servan, The Regent Mustel and The Lady of the Camellias which brought recognition for writer.

The Lady of the Camellias

                                                                                                                  The Lady of the Camellias is a true story. It tells the story a woman named Marguerite Gautier, a seductive Armand Duval. Marguerite was a concubine and was suffering from tuberculosis. They meat each other in the theater. Several days later, Marguerite health deteriorated and he went to the resort for 1 year. The resort also visited the Duke's daughter. she looked like a Margarita. He died a few months later. Herzog told the world he would take care of her and provide her financially if it stops its activity. Marguerite agreed. When she returned to Paris she met to Armand again. They were together. Armand’s father  was against this. A short time later, they rented house in a village near to Paris. Marguerite gave up on her activity but when Herzog learned this he got angry and stopped help for her. Once when Armand was in Paris, his father went to Margarita. He said that Armand had a sister and she can’t married because her brother was favorite of Margarita and asked her to divorce to Armand. Several days later Armand went to his father and when he came back Margarita wasn’t there. There was her letter and she wrote that she gone and she don’t want to be his lover. Armand became angry he found new lover and he had bed dependence to Margarita. After Armand left Paris. After Margarita’s health deteriorated. Margarita had many debts. And with her were only two friends and servant. For last days she was writing diary. Armand’s father wrote letter to Armand. He wrote that he asked to Margarita to divorce to him. Armand returned to Paris but when he came Margarita was dead. Margarita buried two days ago and her coffin followed only her two friend servant and Herzog with several servants.
